In this RFC, we describe the integration of ‘Real Yield’ DeFi into the Hord platform, which involves redistributing a percentage of platform profits to Hord token holders. The percentage to be redistributed stands at 50% of the platform’s income. A variety of methods are also presented for implementing ‘Real Yield’ DeFi, including perpetual staking farms, airdrops, ETH staker redistribution, and hypothetical smart contract redistribution.
Incorporating ‘Real Yield’ DeFi will enhance the value proposition of Hord tokens and encourage token holders to participate actively in the ecosystem. A portion of profits will be redistributing to Hord’s community, strengthening the alignment of interests.
Specification & Implementation:
This RFC seeks feedback on the proposed methods for implementing ‘Real Yield’ DeFi:
Perpetual Staking Farms: Introduce perpetual staking farms with HORD token emissions via buyback.
Periodical Airdrops: Conduct buybacks and distribute tokens through periodical airdrops to token holders.
ETH Staker Redistribution: Utilize revenue from fees for HORD buybacks, which are then redistributed to ETH stakers.
Hypothetical Smart Contract Redistribution: Automate HORD buybacks with revenue and redistribute tokens to holders based on their holding time via smart contracts.
The community is invited to provide feedback and suggestions regarding these methods or propose alternative approaches.
The integration of ‘Real Yield’ DeFi aligns with Hord’s mission to create a fair and rewarding ecosystem for all participants. By redistributing profits to token holders, we foster community engagement, incentivize long-term holding, and increase the value proposition of HORD tokens.
A ‘yes’ vote on this RFC indicates support for integrating ‘Real Yield’ DeFi into the Hord platform. This RFC will be followed by a formal proposal for implementation based on community feedback.
A ‘no’ vote indicates disagreement with the integration of ‘Real Yield’ DeFi.
